Certifying fitness to participate in events/activities:
The practice will no longer be able to complete any letters, forms or certificates for patient to participate in events or activities for example: marathons, parachuting other risk taking activities. We are not insured or indemnified to do this kind of work. You will need to find a private provider for this.

From (Wednesday 21 July) the Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner Service at Mount Vernon Hospital (previously the minor injuries unit) has opened up a direct phone line for patients to contact to book to be seen if they have a minor injury such as a cut, graze, minor burn or simple broken bone.

Diabetes UK run a local peer support group at Uxbridge Civic Centre
